The Verizon Center, formerly the MCI center, has
been home to the Washington Wizards since 1997. It
was constructed at an estimated cost of  260 Million
dollars and has a capacity of 20,173; the 9th largest NBA Arena.

The Verizon Center is also home to the Washington Capitals of the NHL.
