View from Section 408 at Capital One Arena, home of the Washington Wizards

They call this area of the arena the mezzanine which I always though meant 'middle' but apparently not. 408 has a nice panoramic view of the arena but it was nothing to rant and rave about. You already pretty much know what you're getting before you even sit there. Tight seats, tight rows, lots of steep steps to climb, moody ushers and pricey concessions. If you can't afford good seats, wait until you can.

The good thing about section 408 is that you can buy these seats at the box office before the game as long as they're not anticipating a sellout (Celtics, Knicks, Heat and Lakers games). But there is a $2 fee on top of each ticket purchase which sucks but it's better than getting scammed by some ticket scalper on the street.

To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 408, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Wizards game at the Verizon Center.

Here is a 2nd Youtube video shot from section 408 during a Wizards/Miami Heat game.
