Soldier Field has been home to the Chicago Bears since 1971 although the stadium originally opened in 1924. The stadium was constructed at an estimated cost of $632 million dollars (2002 renovations) and has a capacity of 61,500. Soldier Field is the smallest stadium in the National Football League and has been completely rebuilt twice.
