Face value for these seats is $170 a ticket. (Not a typo). We paid significantly more than that and you can expect to as well, even during late season down years for the Bears. We were situated along the 30 yard line behind the Bears sideline. Phenomenal view from every seat. With every snap of the ball, it never felt too far away from us. There are two replay boards, one in the north end zone and one in the south. Wish they were bigger and didn't have so many United and Chase Bank advertisements covering them.
Also make sure you take a lap around Soldier Field to check out all of the sights and sounds. The water wall on the outside of the stadium is neat and so is the doughboy (soldier) statue. Parking at this stadium is virtually impossible, just like at Wrigley Field. If you do insist on parking, Barnham Harbor, Mccormick Place and the East Museum lot are the best options. You will have to do your own research as to the tailgating guidelines in those areas cause I'm not sure of what they are. If you're just looking for a bar to go to before or after the game, City Tavern and "The Scout" are really good but expect a wait.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 140, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Bears offseason practice at Soldier Field.
