I'm not the biggest football fan, but Panthers games are fun. This section is where I sat with my husband for the Bears preseason game a few weeks ago. The crowd wasn't the least bit rowdy but we still enjoyed the game. Section 104 is a neat little section. It offered a clear view of the field as well as the Bears sideline straight ahead. The end zone seats have a bad reputation but not too many fans will complain with seats this close to the field. Watching the running plays are pretty painful from the end zone though, you have no idea how far the carrier was able to run.
The tailgating scene wasn't full strength I guess because it was a pre season game so we just walked into the stadium without eating before the game. All of the concessions are super expensive as you can probably expect. Beers are outrageously priced but there are only 8 Panthers games per year so go ahead and splurge.
To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 104, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Panthers/Oakland Raiders game at Bank of America Stadium.
