Wrigley Field is perhaps the most beloved baseball stadium in Major League Baseball, and is the league’s 2nd oldest ballpark. The "neighborhood feel" that Wrigleyville provides baseball fans simply cannot be matched by any other baseball stadium. The Chicago Cubs recently began a complete renovation of Wrigley Field called the “1060 Project”. The 1060 Project entailed a new numbering system for each section, the addition of new premium seating areas, group party areas, and private clubs. Of course, many Chicago Cubs fans didn't think Wrigley Field needed to be modernized. Our staff wanted to provide a thorough breakdown of the Wrigley Field seating chart to help baseball fans decide where to sit before purchasing their Chicago Cubs tickets.
Where To Sit At Wrigley Field
Wrigley Field is perhaps the easiest stadium to navigate in Major League Baseball with only three core seating areas including the lower level, upper level, and bleachers in the outfield.
The lower level seats at Wrigley Field consist of the club box seats, field box seats, Budweiser Bleachers, and terrace seats. The upper level seats at Wrigley Field consist of the upper deck box seats, and upper deck reserved seats. The terrace seats and upper deck reserved seats are where baseball fans will encounter Wrigley Field's infamous obstructed view seats (see below). We’ll begin by discussing the club box seats.

The following seats are where you will find the beam poles that act as a support system for the upper deck at Wrigley Field. The beam poles create obstructed views of the playing field, and a poor fan experience. The following instructions could be confusing, but for every seat you see on the obstructed seat list, try to avoid the same seat in the rows behind it. Also avoid any seat in the immediate vicinity of the following seats. If your seats are below row 5 in any of the 200 level sections, you’ll be free of obstructions.
