Petco Park has been home to the San Diego Padres since 2004. The stadium was constructed at a cost of $450 million dollars and has a capacity of 42,445. Previous to the construction of Petco Park, the Padres played their home games at Qualcomm Stadium, former home of the Los Angeles Chargers.
