The Canadian Tire Centre, formerly called Scotiabank Place, has been home to the Ottawa Senators since 1996. The arena was constructed at an estimated cost of $170 million dollars and has a capacity of 19,153. The Ottawa Senators are currently exploring the idea of building a brand new arena in downtown Ottawa.
