If you go to NHL games only wanting a good view of the ice, Premier 9 definitely has it but it's the last premier section on that side of the arena and is right next to section 205. Tickets in Section 205 will be significantly cheaper than Premier 9 and has practically the same view.

But the premier sections have waiters that will bring you your food from a select menu but it's way too expensive and unnecessary. You're better off eating at Rosa Mexicana or another LA Live restaurant before the game begins.
The premier seats are also a little wider and are more private. It's worth sitting there just once for a Kings of Lakers game.

To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from Premier 9, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Kings game at the Staples Center. The video quality isn't the best but will give you a good idea what these seats are like.
