To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 116, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Panthers/Buffalo Sabres shootout at the BB&T Center.

116 was great for the Panthers-Flyers game we went to. It sat between the blue line and the face-off circles. Great view of the ice, especially when the offense is passing the puck around. Best of all, the benches are on the other side of the ice so we weren't stuck behind it.

The jumbo tron in upper center arena was not HD, it looked rather outdated and was hanging too close to the ice compared to other hockey venues we've been to. The seats were new and spacious, with an adequate amount of leg and elbow room. If a fan in our row needed to get out of the row, we could let them out without having to stand up.
HOCKEY ETIQUETTE: Never stand up and leave your seat while the puck is moving. Wait until there is a stoppage of play.
