To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 140, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Patriots/Baltimore Ravens game at Gillette Stadium.

By no means will section 140 give you the best view of the playing field but it's a fun party section. It's extremely hard to see the field markers so you'll be watching the score board the whole game to see where the ball is spotted.
If you can score tickets in the first three rows, do so. Nothing like getting the ultimate NFL experience from that close where you can see and hear all of the bone crushing plays up close.

There are many different vantage points in this stadium but unfortunately, you're going to be paying a premium for any ticket just to get in the door. It's worth it but it sucks that many of the true Patriots fans can't go to the games because they've been priced out of the market.
