Petco park itself is very clean, fun and an exciting place to watch Padres baseball. The last two games I have been to, we have sat in section 103 which are basically right behind home plate and near the Padres batter's circle (where the batter's warm up). We were able to find tickets for around $45 each both times which is a great seat at a great price. Try finding similar seats in LA or San Francisco for $45 per ticket.
