We sat in section 103, and our seats were fairly easy to locate. I loved being only 6 rows from where all the action is (I particularly enjoyed when the players slammed against the plexiglass!). Compared to other NHL arenas I've been in, this one had a good amount of leg and elbow room.
The food here is pretty average; nothing gourmet. I split the chicken tender basket (close to $10) as I was saving room for the soft serve ice cream...I was excited when they came down to our section with some good old swirls ($4.50). After sitting down with my chicken tender basket, I noticed that other people had items that looked much tastier. Should have walked around more, oh well. The beers will set you back $8-$10, but that's expected (only two per person at a time, with last call at the end of the second period).
Overall, not a bad NHL arena. I'll definitely be back to get my hockey fix.
:-) 103 is the most awesome section for Caps Games. Great sight lines at the goal the Caps shoot at twice, close enough to Goat so you can be part of the cheering and total atmosphere. Nice people all around you...
