Sat in 140, row 33 for the 49ers game two seasons ago. Paid a lot of money for those tickets and didn't like the outcome of the game either but I love coming to Saints games period simply because of the party atmosphere that it brings. Row 33 was one of the last few rows in this section and it sits in the shadows of the 2nd level so many fans may not like that but it sure beats the upper level. Have seen too many games from the upper levels and you never get used to those steep steps. Here, you won't have to worry about any of that. The Saints bench is also down and to the left of these seats which was also very cool. We had no issues walking down to row 1 before the game to watch warmups.
Beware that there are no cup holders attached to any of the seats and that if you need to exit your row during the game, every fan will need to stand up to let you out. You'll see similar situations in every professional venue most likely, but the seats are the Superdome are super cramped and the concourses can often become super cramped.
They have great variety in terms of food at the stadium but we usually eat at one of the many many many French Quarter restaurants before the game so we aren't tempted to buy $7 hot dogs. My favorites are probably Acme Oyster House, Cafe Du Monde and Red Fish Grill, all within walking distance of the Superdome. Parking is also another inconvenience. There isn't a whole heck of a lot of tailgating done before Saints games to tell you the truth. Not compared to other NFL stadiums I've visited. So I would suggest parking at Garages 1, 1a or 2, 2a if you don't mind paying $20-$30 to park your vehicle. I know that Harrah's on Poydras will allow you to park for free if you're gambling but get there early!!!

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 140, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Saints game at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
