My husband and I paid our first visit to Lambeau at the end of last season for the Tennessee Titans game. (He's a shareholder). It was the last game of the season and the Packers won big.
The stadium itself and it's layout is nothing to write home about. Especially in comparison to some of the newer NFL stadiums like Cowboy Stadium, Reliant and Metlife. But I don't think Packers fans would want a stadium like the others. It's part of the charm.
Our seats were in 129, row 40, seat 12/13. The sound system was excellent first off. You always worry about it echoing in outdoor venues like this one.

Row 40 is far from the field but it didn't feel far at all. Still felt right on top of the game. There were a lot of fans in our area listening to a broadcast of the game on their headsets (WTAQ 1360AM). You'll see a lot of dedicated old timers like that in this stadium.
All of the seats are metal with no individual seats that push down. There wasn't much space for our legs at all and there were no cup holders. Lambeau is an uncomfortable stadium unless you have indoor/outdoor club seats. The bleacher seats are 18 inches apart so they don't leave much room for your bum. But overall, I think most fans would enjoy a game from section 129 so I would recommend it. Not sure what any other seat in the stadium is like?

We only bought beers at the game, didn't buy any food but the smell of the sausages was amazing. We plan on eating at Curly's Restaurant the next time we visit for a game whenever that may be.
There is no light rail, subway, or really even cab system in Green Bay for games so fans pretty much have to drive themselves and park. Lots 1-9 are the best for tailgating we were told but we just hung around the Tailgate Zone area outside of the stadium. It was a nice setup.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 129, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Packers game at Lambeau Field.
