Most famous arena in the world. Section 218? Not so famous. Good seats for the money but not some place I would want to sit again. The concourses had an old sticky smell to it. The concessions were equally as bad. The Prudential Center in Newark and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn offer a better bargain on tickets and are much nicer arenas. You can reach those arenas just as easily as the Garden via the transit line.

They've definitely improved the sight lines after renovating but 218 was pretty lackluster. It was behind the backboard but on the 2nd level. The backboard won't bother your view much. And 218 gives you a good vantage point. The fast breaks are fun too watch from there, especially if it's an exciting team playing the Knicks that night. I hate the Heat but they're worth the ticket price, trust me.

The arena itself isn't as big as what you might expect. The concourses are now a little wider but the escalators are still always jam packed with fans. The escalators are located at the towers in the corners of the Garden and there are four towers (A thru D).
