Went to the Giants/Nationals game last year, I think it was a Tuesday night game. 324's view of the Bay is really what makes this section great. Any seat down the upper third base side is going to give you a great view of Bay in the distance but during night games, the view of it fades pretty quickly. Especially during late summer. The food selection isn't all that great on the top level but I usually eat before the game to save some money on concessions. I highly recommend MoMo's and 21st amendment brewery, they're affordable but everything is more expensive in San Fran. If you want to give the garlic fries a try, you can find them at 'Derby Grill' near this section in the concourse. And be sure you find the escalator to take you to the upper deck - it's just inside the Willie Mays entrance (main entrance).

The upper level is what it is. No matter how much people say 'there isn't a bad seat in the house', that just isn't true. It's all about perception so sit where you can afford. The bleachers are where the 'true fans' sit and those seats sit close to the field but they're extremely uncomfortable to sit in during the duration of the game.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 324, here is a Youtube video shot from row 5 during a Giants game at AT&T Park.
