Whoever constructed AT&T Park did an especially great job at designing the first base side. Somehow they made every section with a great and close feel to the infield. I've sat in section 101 next to the Brick Wall before and even those seats were great with the perfect angle.
105 is a darn good place to sit. They call it a box section and it has over 40 rows. Stay as far away from row 42 as possible. The last five or so rows are underneath the 2nd level overhang and will keep you from being able to see the pop ups into the outfield. Technically, I guess you could call those "obstructed view seats". But the organization sure doesn't advertise that little tid bit to fans.

How well you can see Mccovey Cove from this section depends on which row you choose. Anything past row 35 should give you a good view of it but don't quote me on that.
I'm beginning to love this neighborhood, so much has sprung up around it since AT&T was built back in the early 200s. Fisherman's Wharf is just a short ten minute walk away, ask one of the locals how to get there from the ballpark.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 105, here is a Youtube video shot from row 42 during a Giants/Cincinati Reds game at AT&T Park. This section is right next to the visitors bullpen area.
