Seat view from section 113 at Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros

Made the trip from Dallas to see the Rangers play the Astros earlier this season. Love that both cities can finally put together a little bit of a rivalry outside of the Texans/Dallas Cowboys now that the Astros are in the American League. When you go to Rangers games during the summer, you're constantly having to endure the summer heat. It was nice to watch baseball in a climate controlled environment for once.
We strategically sat in 113 because it was behind the Rangers dugout and I mean immediately behind it. Had the perfect view of third base from row 13. Not too close but not too far, it was a good selection although sitting in row 1 would have been spectacular.
The main scoreboard was straight ahead of us. It had a crystal clear display and kept us updated the entire game.

The easiest way to access section 113 from the outside of the ballpark would be to enter thru the South Home Plate entrance. The main entrance is obviously the Union Station side where you'll also find the left field gate. Navigation around the ballpark is very easy though so you'll be able to find any seat within 10 minutes upon entering.

The field was very close to the stands. Even when walking around the concourse, we were able to see the playing field at all times. As a Rangers fan, I enjoy seeing stadiums and arenas located smack dab in the middle of the downtown area. In Dallas, the two most popular teams actually play in Arlington.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 113, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an Astros/St. Louis Cardinals game at Minute Maid Park.
