Seat view from section 216 at Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros

One of the more expensive club sections at Minute Maid Park due to it's location behind home plate. Take it from me. Kind of got suckered into buying these seats for a lowly Astros - Kansas City Royals game last June. We sat in the back in row 11. Very poor fan environment in these seats. Waiters would move up and down the rows while batter's were at the plate, the fans in our row seemed more interested in chatting than actually watching the game - who doesn't stand up and cheer when an Astros player hits a home run? On a more positive note, the seats couldn't get any more comfortable. And I enjoyed not having to climb more than 20+ rows to get to and from the concourse. There were only 12 rows if I recall correctly.
If you don't want Papa John's pizza ($5 a slice), Club Grill on the club level has a decent cheeseburger. Didn't find a stand that serves Italian/Polish sausages, souvenier helmet nachos, import beers.
Minute Maid Park is reminiscent of Chase Field in Phoenix, but Minute Maid Park definitely has its own distinct look and is much different than the other retractable ballparks. The exterior of the stadium was nice; had a great Railroad feel to it with the big arches in the outfield and the Union Station lobby near the left field gate.

The club seats are excellent but the true Astros fans seem to resort for the bottom level. And yes, of the fans that still show up, those are the true Astros fans.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 216, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an Astros/San Diego Padres game at Minute Maid Park.
