If you're a new era baseball fan, chances are you love the home runs and you love the outfield seats because that's where the home run balls fly. The purists love the pitching and the short offense but Coors Field is definitely a hitter's ballpark. And if you want a spot to catch some home run balls at least during batting practice, then look no further than section 157.

However, if you're a stickler for comfort, you will hate sections 151-160, 401-403 because those are all bleacher sections - where the true Rockies fans sit to watch the game. Compared to Wrigley Field and Yankee Stadium, I would definitely have to say the bleachers at Coors Field are very PG and PG-13 rated. I've never seen any fights or excessively foul language out there. Now for any seat during a Broncos game down the street, that's a completely different story. But overall, Rockies fans are very welcoming to even the visiting fans. Come and see for yourself.

There aren't a ton of choices outside of the bleachers either, when it comes to concessions, most of the best varieties are located behind or near the home plate sections. Madeline's is probably my favorite; they have some great soft serve ice cream. The Blake Street Burrito is also another favorite item of mine.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 157, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Rockies/New York Mets game at Coors Field.
