Section S are box seats that you'll want if you're trying to get autographs from the Diamondbacks players before the game. We were only one section away from the actual dugout so when you stand up, you can see the players and coaches sitting down in there. If you take the tour ($7 per person) you can actually walk down in there though. It's worth it.
Beware of the sharp foul balls though, you won't have much time to prepare for them and for that same reason, you won't want to bring your children to these seats. You can't get any closer to the plays at third base than you can from section S.
Section S is a great section in a string of sections called the 3rd base boxes. You are right on the field practically. Only a few rows to this section including rows AA and A thru E. Most tickets on Stubhub will go for $200+. Well worth it if you have the money.
No, you cannot sneak down to these seats, they are heavily guarded by ballpark ushers. You can get into this ballpark for pretty cheap though, a lot of Phoenix residents leave town during the scorching summer months.
