The Arizona Cardinals are implementing two phases of upgrades to University of Phoenix Stadium to ensure that their fans continue to receive the ultimate NFL experience on Sundays. The most recent upgrades were made to the club area of the stadium; a $28 million venture.

The upgrades include a champagne bar called “The Bubble Lounge”, a wine bar called “The Flight Lounge” as well as new club lofts called “50 East” and “50 West”. Those particular upgrades were geared more towards the female football fans. The main lounge areas were also improved with the addition of two new large video boards behind each bar. The club areas will also offer a larger craft beer selection due to popular demand. Arizona Cardinals President Michael Bidwill went on to state that the Cardinals front office have visited other NFL stadiums and wanted to bring some of the same amenities to University of Phoenix Stadium as well. The organization added new jumbo trons inside the stadium back in 2014 along with a new sound system and improved WIFI capabilities. Phase two of the stadium’s upgrades will begin following the 2017 NFL season.

There has been a ton of activity lately involving the sports stadiums in the Phoenix area. The Phoenix Suns are considering renovating Talking Stick Resort Arena rather than building a new arena for the team. The Arizona Coyotes, who currently play at Gila River Arena, are lobbying for a new stadium to be built although the team is also susceptible to relocation further down the road. The Arizona Diamondbacks are currently in the middle of a lawsuit with Maricopa County over desperately needed repairs at Chase Field.
