PNC Arena Seating Chart, Carolina Hurricanes

PNC Arena, formerly called the RBC Center, has been home to the Carolina Hurricanes since 1999. Unlike most NHL arenas, PNC Arena is located several miles from downtown Raleigh in suburban West Raleigh. The suburban location has yielded perhaps the only NHL arena with a tailgating scene before the game. Though the Carolina Hurricanes fan base fits the description of a fairweather fan base, PNC Arena is an excellent modern arena to watch professional hockey in. Our staff wanted to provide a thorough breakdown of the PNC Arena seating chart to help hockey fans decide where to sit before purchasing their Carolina Hurricanes tickets.

Where To Sit At PNC Arena

The layout of PNC Arena reflects the layout of most arenas in the National Hockey League. The venue has a lower level, a club level, an upper level and various premium seating options. The Carolina Hurricanes are currently interested in installing what would become one of the largest scoreboards in the National Hockey League. We’ll begin by discussing the lower level seats closest to the ice.

Lower Level

The lower level seats at PNC Arena consist of sections 101 through 130. The rows for the lower level sections will begin with rows A through W, followed by row WW, row XX, row YY, etc. This is a very unorthodox organization of rows compared to most arenas in the National Hockey League.

The Carolina Hurricanes bench is located in front of section 105 while the visiting team’s bench is located in front of section 103. The Carolina Hurricanes shoot twice on the goal in front of sections 126 and 127. The visiting team shoots twice on the goal in front of sections 111 and 112. The penalty box at PNC Arena is located in front of section 119.

Hockey fans with tickets for rows A and B of all lower level sections will have access to the Buffalo Brothers Zone, Ledge Lounge, and the Arena Club Restaurant. Ticket holders in sections 103 through 105, and 118 through 120 will also have access to these areas.
