Bio: Ticketmaster is a primary ticket marketplace and the company that jumped started the entire ticket industry. If you purchase tickets from Ticketmaster, you are the first person to touch the tickets. They're not a ticket reseller or "scalper". They often pay stadiums and arenas, teams, concert halls and performers money to have exclusive rights to sell their tickets.

Ticketmaster works directly with event promoters and artists so if something happens and the stage setup changes and you've already purchased tickets, guess who is going to be on the short end of the stick? You.
I won't name the artist, just keep this in mind in the future when dealing with Ticketmaster.

If there is one thing Ticketmaster wants to do, it's create a monopoly. They've made it so hard for regular fans like me to purchase tickets firsthand anymore. I recently purchased two tickets to a scrimmage between the University of Kentucky basketball team (preseason) and the process took more than 2 hours. Even though the tickets were cheap, when it was all said and done, it was way more than I had anticipated due to their extra fees and surcharges.
On a more positive note, the ticket prices throughout the stadium seem to be very consistent on Ticketmaster. As you know they're an extremely reputable company and have great customer service.
