The upper deck is home of the cheap seats and when the Sixers are bad, you can sit in section 208 for as cheap as $5 a ticket. I know, because I've done it plenty of times before, especially late in the season when it has become obvious that the team is out of playoff contention. The view of the court is pretty suspect from section 208 but you can still follow the location of the ball and enjoy the crowd environment by at least coming to see the game in person. Stay away from the seats in the teens since those are at the top. Seats in rows 11 and below will be just fine.

Since there aren't many restaurants near the arena, fans should consider eating at PJ Whelihan's which is a pub on the bottom level near section 107 (I-95 side of the arena). If you don't mind paying the outrageous concession asking prices, there is a Jack and Jill's Ice Cream and Seasons Pizza outside of section 208. Getting there is also rather easy if you enter the arena through the Broad Street entryway and then look for the escalators leading up to the upper level. This is a very easy arena to navigate. Even though there is tons of available parking on the Sports Complex site, the SEPTA subway line is by far the easiest and cheapest way to get to the arena. Riding a shuttle from an area restaurant is also an option but the cabs are ridiculously priced both before and after games so keep that in mind.
