Seat view from premier section 16 at the Staples Center, home of the Los Angeles Lakers

Attended the Lakers-Pistons game last November. It was right when the season started and my boyfriend's boss hooked us up with seats in row 11. These were the 2nd to last row of seats in section 16. Still, good seats, much better than any seat you could purchase for the upper level 300s.
The only thing I don't like about the Premier seats is the concrete that encircles each section. It created kind of a "Boxed In" feeling. That could just be me but that was my overall impression.
Not far from our section in the alley was a stand called "Cooke's Corner". The suite level concessions are much nicer and there are less people to navigate through to find food if you don't use a waiter in your section. Cooke's is like a small Deli; I had the Prime Rib sandwich. Pricey, but good. I guess if all else failed, I could have walked to the main level and got some Mcdonald's if I didn't like what was being served on the expensive suite level.

Driving to Lakers games is just as bad as driving to Dodgers games in the Ravine. Traffic is almost always backed up off of the 110 and 405 freeways. You'd be better off just taking the Metro to Pico Station near the arena, eating at one of the many establishments at LA Live like the Yard House or Rock N Fish and then going into the game. It's all according to what's on your agenda. If you've got the money to spend on a night's stay at the JW Marriott or the Ritz Carlton, they're both right next to the Staples Center.
