Came to the Barclays Center for my first Nets game last season. The Nets were playing the Indiana Pacers that night. Sitting behind the basket wasn't nearly as bad as I had anticipated. No different than sitting behind the goal in any other arena. We were seated right above where the Pacers run out onto the floor so these seats would be ideal for the Pacers fans coming to Brooklyn. I don't recall our row but following the game wasn't an issue. It's very dim in this arena. Barclays is just as easy to access as Madison Square Garden via transit. The Long Island Railroad also stops just outside of the arena so all of New York can get here without trouble.
To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 16, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Nets/New York Knicks game at the Barclays Center.
