I was impressed with how the seats in 134 were angled. In other NHL arenas I've visited, if the section was in the corner, then you had to turn your body to see the action on the other side, like you would looking at home plate at a baseball game. I was a little annoyed with the protective netting but I understand that it's completely necessary for the protection of the fans but it's a reason to consider sideline seating if it bothers you that much. You don't have to do that in 134.
I have only been to two Avalanche games but have been told by many that there isn't a bad seat in this arena. I'm not planning on finding out how good or bad the top deck is based on how high it looked when I sat on the lower level. If you get a chance to check out the Pepsi Center for either an Avs or Nuggets game, be sure to give Fat Tire Beer a chance.
