To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 129, here is a Youtube video shot from there as the Hurricanes enter the ice before a playoff game.

I was upset to find out that none of this section will get you next to the glass. Because these seats are in the tunnel area, the tunnel sits below the section. The view is pretty solid though which seems to be what essentially everyone goes on when choosing their seats anymore.
Tickets in 129 will be a little more affordable than the rest of the lower level.
