To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 227, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Patriots game at Gillette Stadium.
It's weird how the seats on the 2nd level of Gillette Stadium are packed into different blocks of seats but you can tell that it was to distinguish the club seats from the regular seats on the 2nd level. They also even colored the club seats red. I guess they really want to distinguish the haves and have not's for Patriots games.
227 overall was a great section nestled towards the end of the field overlooking the south end zone. They call this area the mezzanine and I think they are equally good seats all around.
There are 27 rows to this section, I've actually sat here twice, once for a Bills game and another time for a San Diego Chargers game. Whether you're in row 27 or row 1, you're going to enjoy your seats. Each seat typically goes for anywhere between $180-$240 per ticket depending on which game you go to. For games against the New York Jets, always expect to pay way more than face value. This is what Patriots games have come to since no one can afford to buy season tickets each year.
