View could have been better but 205 had a luxury setting with it's wide padded seats. The rows weren't lengthy at all so we didn't feel cramped up with hundreds of other fans. There was a set menu for drinks and food. The waiter in your section will give it to you and go and get the items at your request.
The entrance was private so we didn't have any crowds to battle. If you want to explore the arena if you've never been here before, buy seats in the 100s and do the laps around. The 2nd level is so exclusive, it will take a big effort to go and see the rest of the arena. The Jack Daniels lounge on the first level looked really nice but was too crowded.

If you're coming to the American Airlines Center for a Stars hockey game, make sure you dress warm. During the spring months while hockey is going on, it can be 75 degrees outside but cold on the inside. I've made that mistake before. The arena temperature for Mavs games isn't nearly as cold.
Not a ton to do in the surrounding area of Victory Park. Victory Tavern is the place to go before the game. The Rangers and Cowboys stadiums are in Arlington and aren't even in Dallas so you likely won't encounter them when visiting Dallas.
