I snuck down here at halftime of the Nets-Pelicans game 3/10/15 using tickets belonging to two friends who happened to be in that section. The view from row 13 is great and you feel like you're close to the court. The visiting bench is in front of you and you can see everything really well. The visitors shoot on your end during the second half. The crowd was pretty subdued, I assume most of the people around me shelled out a decent amount of money or were in corporate seats. There were beer vendors patrolling the aisles (they don't have them upstairs), which was a nice touch. Read about it here www.wenttothat.com/?p=214

If you're looking for tickets in section 12, definitely sit higher up although you may be tempted to buy tickets near the floor. Anything past row 13 would be ideal. The lower corners for basketball aren't all that bad. Avoid the upper levels at this arena if you can. View isn't bad but getting to your seats is an absolute headache. Getting to any section in the lower level is easy as long as the usher isn't being a jerk and wants to keep checking tickets.
You also get free Wi-Fi on your mobile device at the arena, no passwords.
