Wow, what a view. Behind home plate for the perfect panoramic of the field at Kauffman. The fountains in the outfield are beautiful and you can see them much better from the top than you can from the bottom level. Not an opinion, that's a fact. My only advice would be to avoid any seat in the double lettered rows (AA, BB, etc). Those are way up there. You will want to sit as close to row A as possible because there are a lot of stairs to climb up there. 419 in general though, won't let you down as it's easily one of the more desirable seats on the Hy-Vee level.
Only thing I would have changed about Kauffman would have been to build it in downtown Kansas City rather than 8 miles away. Looking past the jumbo tron in center field, all you see are fields and the highway. What makes places like PNC Park and Busch Stadium so beautiful is the skyline but I'm happy watching my Royals play here. I'm a fan for life!

Off the beaten path in Kansas City is the Negro Leagues Hall of Fame. Any baseball fan should take consideration of this place, it's located down on 18th and Vine and costs $10 to see. You'll learn alot because there was a lot more to the Negro Leagues than just Jackie Robinson and Satchel Paige.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 419, here is a Youtube video shot from there before the 2012 MLB All Star game at Kauffman Stadium.
