The Las Vegas Raiders will debut at the brand new Allegiant Stadium on Monday September 21, 2020 when they host the New Orleans Saints. Every single seat in the 65,000 seat stadium has been purchased by a season ticket holder which has created high demand on secondary ticket websites like StubHub and SeatGeek. According to TicketIQ, the average ticket price for a Las Vegas Raiders ticket in 2020 exceeds $1,000. The next closest teams with the highest average ticket prices at home are the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos; both at more than $600 per ticket. Of course, Raiders ticket prices could decrease significantly with a lackluster start during the first half of the season.

Ticket prices for Las Vegas Raiders games at Allegiant Stadium are priced 527% higher than last season; the team’s final season in Oakland, California. Other NFL teams that saw significant increases in ticket prices in 2020 include the New York Jets (153%), Cincinnati Bengals (147%), and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (135%). The Las Vegas Raiders will host four prime time games at Allegiant Stadium, although Head Coach John Gruden says he would have liked to have seen more on the schedule.

By the time construction crews wrap up at Allegiant Stadium, the construction costs are expected to total just under $2 billion. The Las Vegas Raiders are now the second professional sports team on the strip after the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights debuted at T-Mobile Arena in 2017. Las Vegas will quickly become a hot spot for visiting fans. Will Major League Baseball and the NBA follow suit and view Las Vegas as a potential market for their struggling franchises?
