To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 100, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Capitals game vs. the Calgary Flames.

Last season we sat in the 101 section, row E. The seats were amazing and so easy to find. Obviously, like most NHL arenas, there is not too much space between seats to get comfy. You and your neighboring Caps fans are going to get close and may share in one or two mutual beer spills on each other.
The team bench is also in front of your section. You'll have many great glimpses of the action and the Caps shoot twice on this end of the ice!!!

There are plenty of restaurants and kiosks with overpriced food and beverages. I always look for some kind of kid's combo meal to get the most for my buck - $6 for a hot dog, chips and soda ain't too bad all things considered. Luckily, there are plenty of restaurants to eat at before and after the game.

And don't even think about driving in downtown D.C. if you can avoid it. You're not going to find parking around here without spending $10-$15 AT LEAST.

Sat in row T for the Capitals vs. Ducks game last season. Right behind both team's benches. Center ice. T was the last row but you have a perfect view of the ice and are just a few feet away from the amenities.
Great game!
