To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 106, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Kings/Dallas Stars game at the Staples Center.

106 would be an ideal section for a visiting team fan because this is the visitor's attack zone. There were plenty of Sharks fans in this section when we came last year. The endzone seating behind the net always has cheaper tickets than the lower level sidelines so 106 is a great spot for fans that want to sit lower level without dropping too much money. You can see every part of the ice, every nook and cranny with a flawless view.

Kings fans are generally pretty friendly to visiting fans for the most part. They're too laid back about hockey to care what kind of jersey you're wearing.

L.A. Live is the name of the entire property and there is tons to do in terms of bars, shopping, restaurants. I think the Phoenix Coyotes tried to do something similar with Jobing.com Arena but it isn't working out for them.
