To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 204, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Stars/Montreal Canadiens game at American Airlines Center.
Loved my seats in 204, row B. There were practically no other fans in our section so it was almost like our own private little section. Not sure if it was that particular game but the stadium atmosphere was rather dull. But we could see the ice perfectly, we had kind of the behind the net angle.
I'm still learning hockey but I believe just about anyone will have fun coming to Stars games and EVERYONE will enjoy sitting in 204.
Best of all, there are only four rows. And if you do feel the urge to spend some money on the ridiculously priced stadium fare, then there will be a server in your section waiting to assist you. The food was good.
If you ever get the chance to visit this arena, try the Italian Sausage Hoagie from Sheriff Blaylock's, it sits on the lower level. And when it comes to transportation, either walk from your hotel, take the green line or park at the House of Blues down the street from the arena.
