To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 209, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Blue Jackets/Pittsburgh Penguins game at Nationwide Arena.

Section 209 will give you difficulty in terms of knowing which players are which but the view of the ice was spectacular. The Blue Jackets shoot twice on this end, the home team end always seems to be a bit rowdier than the other sections for whatever reason.
The upper level tickets are naturally more affordable than any of the lower level seats it all depends on what you enjoy as a fan. Close to the glass? Or great view of the ice?
There is $5 parking across from the Lodge Bar downtown FYI if you ever venture into Columbus to check out the Blue Jackets.
