To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 119, here is a Youtube video shot from there during the Blackhawks training camp at the United Center.
Wow, what a section. 119 has all of the hard hitting NHL action you can handle due to it's location in the corner of the arena. I sat here for the Jets game last October, it was the franchise's first visit to Chicago after moving from Atlanta. The atmosphere was great and the Blackhawks won in a 4-3 game. Gotta love the high scoring games. I paid in the neighborhood of $400 for two tickets in row 14. Not too close to the glass, not too far from it either. It was well worth the money.
If you want a mixed drink and not the typical $8 beer, check out Bar One, it sits just outside of this section and they do serve some food options.
119 sits in the corner ice over the left shoulder of the goalie. I have sat here twice with my buddy who is a season ticket holder. View is great if you are in the higher rows, you can see everything and are still fairly close to the ice. Try to get rows 11-16. There are 19 rows in this section. The rows are numbered 1 thru 19. Tickets are very expensive, on the secondary market, sometimes over $200. Much better bargains around the NHL, even in Canada.
