Overall, a good section even though the end zone seats in most stadiums get a bad rap. Had a very clear view from row BB (2nd to last row of seats). Could only see one jumbotron and it's not the most up to date and seems to have more advertisements than actual screen.
Keep in mind that the cannons that shoot off when each point is scored sits behind this section where the Pirate ship is and the BOOM is very loud so these probably aren't the best seats for the fans that don't like such loud noises. Don't hold your breath about getting to walk aboard the Pirate Ship. It's usually rented out for private parties and there will be a traffic jam in the area full of fans just wanting to take a photo of it. It's no where near as big in person as what it looks like on television, trust me.
Parking is $25 and they take advantage of this because there is no light rail system to stop at the stadium. Oh, and they only take cash. Needless to say, the tailgating is great with all of the available parking but I would always take a tent because the Sun can become too much.
There is a taxi stand at the Dale Mabry transit stop. Taking a taxi from your hotel will usually be the best way to avoid paying for parking. There are a lot of hotels near the Airport down the road. Downtown Tampa is visible but I wouldn't recommend trying to walk it.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 149, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Buccaneers/Carolina Panthers game at Raymond James Stadium.
