These seats are excellent, you can do no wrong here although the tickets were insanely priced. That was the only bad thing. We were on the same side of the field as the Chargers, their players were a mere 40 feet from our seats. The tempo of the game appears to be very fast when you sit this close, which it is.
The seats are comfortable enough and each seat had a drink holder. The fans cheered loud the entire game and were very friendly ; made a lot of "friends" that day.
The easiest way to get to these seats is to enter thru Gate B on the Northeast side of the stadium and just take a left through the main concourse. Section 113 will be on your right and an usher will likely greet you to show you to your seats. No way an upper level patron would be able to sneak into these seats - they keep such a watchful eye on who comes in and out.

If you're interested in tailgating, Lots 1 thru 4 are where you want to be tailgating before the game. You will need to buy a parking pass online first because all of the season ticket holders hold these passes but they're out there. Although you can tailgate in other lots too and just take the "T" to the game. Parking at the First Avenue Garage is only $5 - just take the T over to the stadium and that's it; this is all brand new.
And if you're cooking up food at the tailgate, you can bring the food into the stadium as long as it's in a clear bag the security team can see through.

I love the Steelers but I'm not going to lie, there are better NFL stadiums out there. The fans are what makes Heinz Field what it is - especially when 'Renegade' starts on the big screen and the Terrible Towels begin waving. But two stadiums I would definitely recommend visiting are Century Link Field in Seattle and Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Those two stadiums are unlike any other stadium in the NFL and they have great fans, like the Steelers.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 113, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Steelers/New York Jets game at Heinz Field.
