Attended the Saints-Cowboys game in November and enjoyed 531 mainly because of it's small stature. It only had five rows so it was very easy to navigate in and out of the section to go to the restroom or get in the beer line. It's known as an "upper box" and there are only a few of them on this side of the stadium. The view from the 600s behind these will be very similar but you won't have to worry about the constant fan movement if you sit in 531 because there are so few fans.
Not much of a selection when it comes to food on the upper level of the Superdome. "Royal Feast" and "King's Table" are the main concessions near these seats. If you're able to find one of the concessions on the bottom level that serves Alligator Sauages, you should try one. They're not bad.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 531, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Saints game at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
