To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 222, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Magic/Miami Heat game at the Amway Center.

Firstly, I love the new 'going green' plan that the Amway Center has emphasized. It is now the first official 'LEED' arena in the country from what I understand. Smoking is banned and there is only one designated area on the west side of the stadium and you'll be required to leave the insides of the arena and then re-enter.

Even though 222 was somewhat in the corner of the upper arena, it still felt like a sideline view. I was impressed. It was a cool experience and the views of the court were much improved compared to what you would find at the old Amway.
You may want to avoid row 1 only because in front of some sections there is plexiglass to protect fans from falling over. It's for protection but can bother some people's view of the court. Other than that, you can see perfectly over the row in front of you from every seat.

I loved the Orlando Magic themed tables in the concourse area. There are a ton of eateries, all with items that are of average quality and highly priced. You're better off eating at a restaurant downtown before the game; Urban Flats, Too Jay's just to name a few.
