Seat view from section 331 at the American Airlines Center, home of the Dallas Mavericks

I sat here with a few friends on January 25th, 2012 for a game vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves. Our party just wanted cheap tickets so I said what the heck. I didn't hate these seats but I didn't love them either. 331 is extremely small section; much smaller than the surrounding sections so that will either appeal to you or leave you feeling claustrophobic since you'll be seated in the upper corner of the arena.

If you watch the Mavericks regularly enough, you will be able to tell which players are which by the way they move. And it's always easy to know when Dirk has the ball; he's usually the only white guy on the court. But if you don't you will be completely out of the loop.

If you're one of those fans that ends up sitting on the upper level and watching the game from the jumbo screen, don't waste your time coming to the arena. Too much of hassle with the bathroom and concession lines and then the parking. You had might as well stay at home to watch the game on your big screen for free.
