Sat in row 24 for a Mariners/Oakland A's game last season which to my surprise, was the 2nd row. It ended up being a good seat since the outfield walls aren't very high out there but right center field is very deep and extremely far from what's going on in the infield.
The only other downside was not being able to see the main scoreboard without adjusting ourselves in our seats. It's massive, biggest in Major League Baseball but section 106 doesn't give fans the best view of it.

Outside of our section was a concession called 'Big League Burger'. Pricey, but the food was definitely satisfying. P.s. - you can bring your own food into Safeco Field but no liquids. Also, just outside of this section is the statue of Dave Niehaus, the long time voice of the Mariners who passed away a few years back. I love the way that they've paid tribute to a person so monumental in growing the Mariners audience since the organization's beginning. Be sure to have your photo taken next to it.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 106, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Mariners game at Safeco Field.
