Section 125 is one of the two "all you can eat" sections in the ballpark. The food is pretty standard, nothing gourmet, it's hard to cook quality food for masses and masses of people. But all you can eat hot dogs is music to the ears of some baseball fans. Tickets are generally in the $30-$45 range; you can't really find these seats on the street from a scalper, so you need to scour the internet for them. I know they likely won't have them available for purchase at the main gate. Many MLB ballparks are now giving ideas like this a try and it works!
Sitting behind the foul pole and being a long way from home plate are the only downsides I could think of.
If I had to describe Petco Park in one word it would be: different.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 125, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Padres/Oakland A's game at Petco Park.

The worst section in the ballpark. View of home plate is obstructed by the right field foul pole. Left field foul pole does not obstruct any of the sections. Rows are numbered 18 thru 44.
Much better places to sit in this ballpark. Go Padres!
