Great seats in a not-so-great stadium. This place is seriously a concrete jungle but is fine for three hours of top of the line baseball. Whether you're in the first half (MVP Box) or the second half (regular seats), you're view is strictly focused on the infield. However, the angle is nothing like you've experienced so if you've been to a lot of Giants game at AT&T Park, the layout of the lower level will seem a little odd to you at first. But I always have a great times at A's games.
The food is pretty crappy, there are no identifiable brands at the concession stands which is odd considering a big company like Aramark provides the food services. That may have something to do with the incompetent ownership the A's have, though.
To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 114, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an A's/Texas Rangers game at O.co Coliseum.
