Had steep steps to climb to reach our seats but not anywhere near as dangerous as Nassau Coliseum on Long Island (home of the Islanders).
To prove my point, just look at a photo shot from section 529. You're staring down at the foul pole in right field. Wouldn't recommend 529 or any seats in this area for the fans that are afraid of heights.
Seats are comfortable though. Sat there for 9 innings earlier this season for a Phillies game, getting up only once for food and wasn't the least bit stiff. No need to go exploring, I've been to too many Mets game since Citi Field opened. They should build me an apartment in this place I'm here so often.

Another tip: beware of the Phillies and Yankees fans that storm into this place. They think the Mets are the doormat of Major League Baseball so you occasionally have to put them in their place - and it isn't always PG-13.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 529, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Mets/New York Yankees game at Citi Field.
