Cheap ticket and a decent view. Easy to follow the baseball from these seats but also very easy to get caught up in conversations and people watching only to lose concentration on the game. This happened to us a few times and it turned out to be an exciting game that went into extra innings.
We were in row BB which is far from the 2nd row, it was a good 30 rows from the bottom of section 407. The fans constantly moving up and down the aisles in between innings and during the game can become bothersome from this particular row. Baseball games have a lot more of that nonchalant fanfare compared to the other big three sports.

Overall, I would recommend these seats to the devoted Royals fan because the distance from the field likely won't bother you. Your view of the crown-shaped jumbo tron (called Crown Vision) will be a decent one but not as good as from the seats near home plate.
